R4 Route Suspension

Effective February 7, 2022, The Butler County Regional Transit Authority will suspend the R4 route and modify the existing R6 route in response to the current driver shortage.  The BCRTA Board of Trustees accepted the staff’s recommendation to suspend the routes at their January 19 regular meeting after agreeing that the suspension was the best way to preserve quality of remaining services and retain existing staff.

Riders who are impacted by the changes can reach out to customer service or Shawn Cowan, BCRTA’s Mobility Manager, for assistance in finding alternate routes or other potential means of transportation.
