R2 Route Suspension Now Beginning JAN 31

Effective January 31, 2022, The Butler County Regional Transit Authority will suspend the R2 route in response to an extreme driver shortage exacerbated by COVID-19.  The suspension was originally planned to begin February 7 but has been moved up to address extreme staffing shortages and maintain quality of service throughout other services.

Riders who are impacted by the changes can reach out to customer service or Shawn Cowan, BCRTA’s Mobility Manager, for assistance in finding alternate routes or other potential means of transportation.
