Masks optional, effective immediately

                              Butler County RTA Makes Masks Optional, Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) will make masks optional onboard all vehicles and inside the buildings. This change comes as a result of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) suspending enforcement, while the Biden Administration reviews a federal judge’s ruling.

BCRTA has been enforcing TSA guidelines on mask mandates while utilizing public transportation. We will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds, but masks will be optional until further notice.

BCRTA encourages riders and employees to make decisions that are in their best interest.  Updates will be provided as they become available.
