This route connects off-campus housing areas to the north and west of Miami University with the campus core. It also serves as a connector from Western Campus to Miami Station to transfer to a multitude of other routes. During evening hours and the weekend, the route connects to student parking at the Ditmer Lot.

Thu. Jun 6

R6 Detour Jun 7 - Feb 2025

Starting Friday, June 7, 2024, the R6 will serve the stop at Fin-Pan. All other stops on Bilstein/Holden Boulevard will not be served due to bridge construction, which is expected to be completed late February 2025.

Wed. Oct 16

New R3 Stops on Gilmore Road CLOSED

On 10/28, the new R3 route will be live. Due to construction on Gilmore Road, the stops at Gilmore Rd & Resor Rd SB and Gilmore Rd & Annandale Rd NB will not be in service. Construction is expected to be completed in December 2024.

2024 Holiday Schedule

BCRTA and MTS will not operate on the following dates: 11/28/2024, 11/29/2024, 12/25/2024, and 1/1/2025. We will end service at 2:30pm on 12/24/2024, and 12/31/2024. R3 Detour 11/11/24 - Spring 2025

Williams Ave will be closed on 11/11 for construction until Spring 2025. The R3 route will detour to Belle Ave. Passengers may experience delays due to new traffic pattern.

R1 Detour in Middletown

Due to construction on Main Street and Lafayette Ave, the R1 will not serve stops on Main Street between 14th Ave and Lafayette Ave, as well as those on Lafayette Ave to Minnesota Street, effective 11/22/24. R1 will still stop at southbound stops on Main Street from Pinta Ave to Kroger on Oxford State Road. However, R1 northbound will only serve the Oxford State Rd at Main Street stop before continuing north to the Route 4/Verity Pkwy. Construction is expected to be completed within 30 to 60 days.

Green Line SOUTH Detour

Due to construction on Main Street and Lafayette Ave, the stops on Main Street between 14th Ave and Lafayette Ave, as well as those on Lafayette Ave to Minnesota Street will not be served, effective 11/22/24. Miami University J-Term and Winter Break Schedule Changes

Beginning on 12/16/2024 through 1/25/2025 service will be reduced for all U routes, as well as Saferide service. The following routes will run Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 7:00pm - U1W, U3, and the U4D. The U1W, U3, and U4D will operate on Saturday from 11:30am - 7:30pm. No fixed route service will operate on Sunday. Saferide service will be provided Monday through Sunday 7:00pm - 12:00am. Please call 513.785.5237 if you have any questions!
