BCRTA Seeks Community Input on Oxford Transit Route Changes – Survey Open Through March 21

The Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) is planning route changes starting in August 2025 and wants feedback from Miami University students, faculty, staff, and Oxford residents before final decisions are made this spring.
The Chestnut Street Multimodal Station will open in Fall 2025, and all routes will connect at this new location. Based on community input and updated infrastructure, BCRTA proposes several changes to better serve Miami University and the Oxford community.

“We want to ensure these changes reflect the needs of those who rely on our services,” said Shawn Cowan, Director of Customer Care and Public Engagement, “By participating in the survey, residents and students can help shape the future of public transit in Oxford.”
Survey feedback will be incorporated into the final route changes announced later this spring, with the new routes taking effect in Fall 2025.
